Anyway, When the output of the DIFF is run in a patch routine, Do the "Minuses" get taken away and the "Pluses" added to the routine being patched ?
I can field this one. The plusses & minuses are there for 'patch' to know what gets added & removed. They're instructional, and should not appear in the file that is being patched.
