There is also something called dvdrip for copying dvds. You should try again. I haven't bought any dvd media yet, but the unit works like a champ burning CD media with cdrecord. A plus: I have some ancient CD-RW media that I got when I had my very first CD burner. My previous CD burner (HP) would not accept the media, but the Sony unit has no such problems, so now I have more media available. Burning at 10X is a dream! BTW, I failed to get in on the "welcome back, Keith" series, so here it is now. -- Collins Richey - Denver Area if you fill your heart with regrets of yesterday and the worries of tomorrow, you have no today to be thankful for. _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe/Suspend/Etc -> http://www.linux-sxs.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
