2.5.x & 2.6.x kernels require swap version 1. What I can't figure out is what's the difference between swap0 & swap1? I've googled a bit, and there are tons of instructions talking about how this version or that version are needed with kernel f00, but still no one explains why version 1 is an improvement over version 0. Anyone have an explanation, or a pointer to one?
