If I may add my $0.02 in here, in a non-gentoo environment you must
'chmod +x' the above file and then run it as root. It will check to see
that the kernel you are running and /usr/src/linux match and then build
and install the modules you need. It also installs a sample XF86Config
for you so you can modify your existing one (IIRC, it's at least in
/usr/share/doc/NVIDIA-blah)
