Running win4lin on SuSE 8.[12] is pretty easy. Download their patched kernel and go. I have an eDesktop 2.4 system here running win4lin that still works on those very rare occassions when I want to run somthing under the Windows virus (practically never since I've been running OS X on a G4 which runs TurboTax). I really learned to build Caldera kernel RPMS by applying the win4lin patches to the eDesktop 2.4 SRPMS.
