I have a character display problem when using a self compiled copy of rxvt (did simple ./configure --prefix=/usr && make && make install ) as shown here <http://www.jamesmcdonald.id.au/jm/tmp/rxvt/RXVT_problem.html>.
I have tried launching rxvt with many different rxvt -fn <fontname> variables and it always displays some goobledy gook. Xterm on the same system is fine.
I am wondering what rc/config file do I need to edit to change this behaviour?
