I was avoiding this topic until now.
If members feel the need to post _newsworthy_ items, post a link. Other
members feel it's inappropriate to quote and post entire news items to
the list, they're probably right. A link to the news is a much more
efficient way to do this sort of thing.
What pisses me off now, is that all this bickering has possibly chased
off one of the list's most skilled and knowledgeable members. A big
part of the reason I have moved to this list from the Caldera list
(aside from angst) is because of people like Les' presence.
Let's play nice people.
