This was the bugbear that made me try redhat, since I like guis, ergo, I like 
kpackage.

Assuming it is a source patch of some kind, the 'version'  kpackage reports 
under redhat is "2.1.1 (Using kdelibs 2.1.2) "

It is bundled in the kdeadmin.2.1.1-3 rpm
