true. however, consider that this is really:
1. find mkisofs source
2. download source
3. install source
4. insert cd
5. mount cd
6. run mkisofs
7. umount cd
8. eject cd

whereas mine is:
1. insert cd
2. dd
3. eject cd

but in all fairness mkisofs does things that dd can't do... hybrid cds come 
to mind...
