I assume the first RR is the first one in the zone file? IE you are
pointing the zone to an existing A record in another zone?
I'm not sure that's kosher. Never tried it myself. You might try
putting a dot (.) or the zone name with a trailing dot in the far
left column of the first RR and see what happens.
Otherwise setup the secondary zone (or at least one hostname in the
secondary zone) in the dynamic DNS that points to the same IP if you
can.
