Yeah, I installed it to when I first installed eD2.4, being a newbie convert
and just reading the caldera manual that came with the box set. I wish I
hadn't, but then again it enabled me to dual boot and get my feet wet with
little to no risk. About 6 months after I installed eD2.4, my hard drive
that had windows on it decided to corrupt itself with tons of bad tracks.
I've been using eD2.4 since and haven't bothered even fixing the problem.
Now, I'm faced with needing that 4gb hard drive on another box and I'll need
to move /dev/hdb*(eD2.4) to /dev/hda* I'll probably do it when I
upgrade/reinstall/repartition the drive for either eW3.1 or some other
distro. I'll have to resurrect the drive with a low-level format. Does a
low-level format(from bios menu-Award, I think) mess with the mbr? I think
it would, but I'm not for sure.
