My "ghost" messages were emails I had already recieved on the date they were
written , and I recieved another copy several days to weeks later. The
headers showed that they were sent on the original date, but not recieved by
my ISP's mail server until yesterday.  Since it involved several other
lists, and no one on this list had the same trouble then I would guess that
a sloppy admin restored the wrong backup to one of Qworst's crappy
mailservers.
