everybody is tightening up -- suse makes you choose what you'll have
running at installation, and actually provides good advice as to why
you might not want to run a thing. suse also ships a good, free
firewall. redhat 7.2 is pretty tight and gives you the option at
install of making it even tighter. (i suppose corel leaves everything
wide open as part of their failed "windows workalike" campaign.)
