I'm not an apologist for SA, but the courts there are very fair. Don't
confuse stiff punishment with unfair judgements. And everyone going into
it knows the rules.

Most people in the world think it is odd that the US complains about
beheading when in the US the death penalty is not forbidden by federal
law. Opinions differ on this in the US, but the current policy does
allow it.
