I've never used grub, after that episode with LILO I just used the 
floppy (which aren't terribly reliable,either, but I keep a spare). 
When Mandrake 8.1 goes final I'm going to load it up with eDesktop and 
Libra so I'll have to use some boot loader. Some people love LILO and 
curse Grub and vice versa, I'm going to read up to figure out which 
sounds best.

Those short timeouts always have me hunched over the keyboard ready to 
strike like a mongoose over a cobra.
