Kieth, I had a look at the manual @ http://www.tunstallgroup.com/support-userManuals.html and it looks as if the vision software uses integrated NT security to handle it's passwords.
If you download the PNC3 Vision User Manual Book 1 it should point you in the right direction. It has instructions on doing all the stuff you have asked about.
