Ok there are a few things that can do that. #1 Which version of kde are you using 2.2+. The old Konky was sus. #2 Have you been into Konky and set it up to receive JAVA ?? Java is set by default to OFF. Why the hell it is; your guess. settings-> configure konqueror -> konqueror browser Java Tag (enable globally, Java script tag (enable globally) #3 Then there is the fact that you have not purchased and waved the Keith Antoine 'magic wand' over the keyboard and box, this fixes things for good.
