I have @Home cable as well here. It has it's ups and downs, but it's been pretty good. More ups than downs. The mail server can be flakey so I use yahoo for my e-mail lists. I loathe dialup as well. I got spoiled working at an ISP and having T1 or better access. Good luck with the move and let us know when you get settled in.
