I've got Samba 2.2.2 installed (and working) on 192.168.1.10 Seems to be working fine in that 3 shares are being successfully mounted on all my other machines (192.168.1.11-13). However, I have a printer hanging off the .11 box that is being shared as a network printer (WinME for the OS). The .12 and .13 boxes can print to it without issue. However, the .10 box can't seem to see any SMB shares on the .11 box...
smbclient -U id%pass -L 192.168.1.11 returns: added interface ip=192.168.1.10 bcast=192.168.1.255 nmask=255.255.255.0 added interface ip=127.0.0.1 bcast=127.0.0.255 nmask=255.255.255.0 session request to 192.168.1.11 failed (Called name not present) session request to 192 failed (Called name not present) session request to *SMBSERVER failed (Called name not present) I'd really like to be able to print from the .10 box... ideas anyone? -- Douglas J.
