My office manager's win98 system is problematic, with frequent crashes, etc. I am looking to replace this system with linux. This system (k6-400,256mb) runs a foxpro database-office management system, and basic office software. The office software can easily be handled by linux, but what is the best approach in operating the database? VNC off a win2k box? A new virtual machine in vmware run local or remote? Any thoughts?
