I have just recompiled 2.4.10 on Suse 7.3 and have the same problem but it does boot up to the kde login window, with just a blank screen till it reaches to login. It was not even doing that till I put back the vga=0x0317 and hased out initrd line. I used to use vga=normal but it does not like that. -- Keith Antoine aka 'skippy' 18 Arkana St, The Gap, Queensland 4061 Australia PH:61733002161 Retired Geriatric, Sometime Electronics Engineer, Knowall, Brain in storage _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list Archives, Digests, etc at http://linux.nf/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
