Windows as the server or the client? There's always (iirc original) AT&T: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/ TightVNC, apparently a bit more bandwidth efficient, is also available for windows I believe. http://www.tightvnc.com/ I don't have too much experience with either of these but I have spent a bit of time getting original ATT version going at some time or another and met with success there.
