I've just cut over to 2.4.13-pre5 (because that's as far as gentoo has made it), but -pre9 is already available. pre5 has some bugs left in the agp-sis component (won't compile) which I no longer require but was still hanging around in my config. I guess I'm just old fashioned or chicken or I've learned a few things over the years, but I wouldn't apply tune2fs -j to my only running system on a bet! Old safe and secure here always clones his system to an empty partition, updates the fstab and lilo, and then plays to his heart's content on a system copy that he can break without too many tears. -- Collins Richey Denver Area gentoo_rc6 xfce+sylpheed _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list Archives, Digests, etc at http://linux.nf/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
