Two years ago this month, I joined this (formerly Caldera) list. I didn't
know anything about linux, and not alot about computers in general.
I did know that our Microsoft OS was inadequate for the business needs
of our small medical office. One by one linux has taken over our small
network.
I have been able to accomplish this only because of the help of
all of you. As a small company, we have little funding for IT related costs.
Linux has saved quite alot of expense, but more importantly, has made our
network very stable and much more trouble-free.
I would like to encourage any one new to linux to stick with it,
because the end results are worth the effort.
Finally I would like to thank the group of list members who answer
so many questions. Each answer helps a large number of people, and your
contributions are much apreciated.
I look forward to being able to contribute more as my experience
grows.
