I am planning on moving from Windows 2000 to linux with in the next month. I have basic linux skills, but I am by no means a competent user. I am hoping that people on this list will be able to point me towards on-line or downloadable tutorials or books that will help me increase my knowledge. I am familar with linuxdoc.org, and i will be getting the latest copy of the howtos before I move across. But does anyone have any resources for learning scripting, html, C++ programming, or linux configuration. Some kind of scripting that I can use to filter my mail and so on would be nice. I have the ability to purchase hard cover books and have many, but as they go out of date so soon, I am hoping for free resources.
