I have XMMS setup to show AVIs if I select them but I can't make it use XMMS if I left click on an avi file. I've added XMMS to the file associtions/general tab as the preferred app. On the embedding app tab I try to add XMMS but it doesn't show up in the list when I click ADD. I also tried setting the video group left click action to "show in separate "view but then when I click on an AVI file the xmms icon is shown but then I get a dialog for edit file typ showing the embedded viewer tab and I still can't add XMS.
What am I missing here. I just want to open the file in XMMS when I click on it. -- Brett I.
