What does the box do (desktop, server, etc)? Which kernel are you running? By crashed, you mean locked up? Is there a possible overheating/overclocking problem? My experience has shown that when a box just locks solid, with no information at all in messages, it tends to be a hardware problem, memory usually. ===== ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lonni J.
