Like I said before I can't do anything on a Sunday* but I joined in with the Lucid Team today and I have to say that my first experience of face to face open source collaboration was thoroughly exhilarating. I've been feeling completely jazzed all evening. Just a bunch of volunteers stepping and doing what is needed with no thought or need of formality. Normally when I try to work in a team I either stand in the back feeling guilty that I'm not being of any use or get shouted at because I have somehow ruined everything. Today I feel that I have bought constructive and reasonably implemented ideas to a cooperative anarchy as well as being a general team player. Everyone who came made it undoubtedly one of the best Saturdays ever. I'd really like to hear some stories about the installfest planned for tomorrow. *No I don't believe that the Sabbath should be held by Christians but the logistics got awkward. _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.canterbury.ac.nz/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
