A while back I posted that I had a couple of problems which I needed
help with so now that they are both solved I thought that I would report
my findings.

1/ No-one behind my IPCop firewall could successfully use iSky.

The temp fix was to disable the proxy caching on my IPCop box because of
the poor use of port 80 by Sky for this feature.

The permanent fix was to replace IPCop with pfSense (without a proxy
server).

2/ I could not access the Sky TV guide using either Linux Mint or Linux
Mint Debian edition. ( http://www.skytv.co.nz/Default.aspx?tabid=116 )

This turned out to be a problem with Flash on my 64 bit systems.
The fix which worked for me (on Firefox) was to install the Firefox
Add-On called
"Flash-Aid".
Flash-Aid is an extension designed to remove conflicting flash plugins
from Ubuntu Linux systems and install the appropriate version according
to system architecture.
