I had a quick look on their website and got the impression that the software is very underdeveloped with pretty much no Linux version supported. For fun I searched for openSUSE packages and drew a blank, but a good list of alternative packages instead, like kdenlive. That looks to me it's pretty alpha at best, so if you want to get results for your video now you're probably best off to choose a different app. The problem you're seeing is likely just a symptom of general shoddiness in there. In a year or two things might have improved.
