I'd agree with that. I have had a series of 3 IBM /Lenovo ThinkPads and
have had great use out of them all.

The current one is a Z60t and nearly runs Linux 'Better than a bought one'.
 The exception is the battery drain which imho should be better than it is.
It might well be if I had bothered to fiddle about with the powertop
utility, but I can't be bothered.
