Then Windows is not ready for the masses either. On my dual-boot work
laptop, neither Windows nor Linux explicitly tell me that the wireless
switch is off. The laptop itself, however, has a WiFi light next to
the charging light and disk activity light which tells me as soon as I
turn on the laptop before either OS is even booted, so it must be a
bios thing.
