+1 for squeeze. It's my desktop. nVidia drivers are a bit of a pain to
install mind.
Works for me, not the other way round.
I recommend that you try Linux Mint Debian Edition. It gives you Debian
Squeeze and a really nice desktop (and really easy to install nVidia
drivers).
Even though it is from "Testing" the Mint team and community do further
testing before releasing updates too so it is really stable.
