If so then IMHO the best digital tuner on the market is the HD Homerun http://nicegear.co.nz/dvb-cards/silicondust-hdhomerun/ . It is a network device that any computer on your lan can use, but in the mythtv context it will only be accessed by your recording machine. The limiting factor is more IO - especially if you want to record several programmes at once.
