West Melton is a shocker if you're on the WM exchange apparently.
500-600kb/s down is not uncommon, as the contention rate is too high.
We have a staff member out there and after much trying and complaining
to our company rep with Telecom we got exactly no-where. A wee while
after that I discovered that he was getting about normal service for the
area...

Do you know which cabinet you are connected to?
My dad is about 5km from the Rolleston D cabinet and gets about 5-6Mbps.
