Hi All,
I recently upgraded to Mageia4. All went well for a few days, then grub
failed to boot with a msg that it could not find
/grub2/i386-pc/normal.mod. Rebooted from the install disk and
reinstalled without reformatting and all was ok until the next morning
when the same fault occurred.
Booted again with the install disk and went exploring only to find that
the grub2 pkg contained the missing file. Installed that pkg and all now
seems well as another reboot worked as it should.
Now who would expect such a critical pkg to be missed .........Grrrrrrrrrr
