Are you having the issue /only/ over wireless only as far as you know?

And if so, are more than one wireless devices experiencing this problem?

I have a lot of bad experience with Laptop Wifi cards being flakey.

Some, flakey enough that continued use of Wifi for more than a day will
cause a hardware lockup of my laptop.

I'd probably tempt setting up an instance of MTR to do a continued ping
test to either the DSL router or to the ISPs first hop and see if it shows
any interesting packet drops.
