Noone posted the unix christmas carol this year!
Some extra ones:
lsscsi Show attached drives, lists hard drives, CDs, pen drives and
card readers. Doesn't show old-school IDE hdX or xen xvdX drives
lsusb.py nicer version of lsusb, with speed info
lslocks like fiuser but shows file locks on the local system.
lsdvb Show Digital Video devices like this:
*bt:~# lsdvb **
**
** lsdvb: Simple utility to list PCI/PCIe DVB devices**
** Version: 0.0.4**
** Copyright (C) Manu Abraham**
**
**b2c2_flexcop_pci (13:2103 13:2103) on PCI Domain:0 Bus:1 Device:1
Function:0**
** DEVICE:0 ADAPTER:0 FRONTEND:0 (ST STV0299 DVB-S) **
** FE_QPSK Fmin=950MHz Fmax=2150MHz**
** DEVICE:0 ADAPTER:1 FRONTEND:0 (ST STV0288 DVB-S) **
** FE_QPSK Fmin=950MHz Fmax=2150MHz**
*
lshal Not sure - doesn't do a lot for me
lsdistcc List distributed C compiler hosts autodiscovery
lstopo List system "topology" how devices are connected, via pci
or isa etc.
lss16toppm Convert an LSS-16 image to PPM - part of imagemagick
ls Strange command, rarely used. Something about listing of
files.
Many of these will be in specific packages rather than in the default
install.
One that I have (re) discovered is the *uptimed* package in Debian and
Fedora.
