If you're running LVM, then you can add a new pair of disks in raid1 and
then extend the existing volume group with them. This will allow you to
then extend the current LV to make use of the added space.
If you're mounting the disks ( raided ) directly, then there's no easy
way to extend what you've got. If the new pair are larger, and you can
install them under LVM, you can then copy the contents across, then add
the old pair to the vol group and then extend. Longwinded and tedious
but it will work!
