Following on from my clean-out last year of smallish PATA drives I've
just been doing a clean out of bits & bobs and have some larger ones
spare now..
3x WD5000AAKB 500Gb's
and 1x Samsung SP1313N 160GB
They're going for the same price as the last.. ie: Free, first in first
served.
They'll need to be scrubbed before I let them go, as they cane from a
customer machine which will take a day or two, but otherwise pickup is
in Rural leeston, or I can bring them into town. I'm working out near
the Airport (Tait) Tuesday-Wednesday this week.
Drop me an email off list, alternately feel free to start a debate about
the security of scrub vs other tools and the difficulty of properly
erasing data from modern hard disks without application of a sledgehammer.
