Hello Christopher

Here is what I found on the internet

http://blog.davidelner.com/dual-booting-ubuntu-14-10-on-the-surface-pro-3/

https://github.com/neoreeps/surface-pro-3

You need to build your own kernel anyway.

However I don’t think it’s a good choice to replace/dual boot Windows with
Linux in terms of the power management and other minor issues.

I’d suggest you to run Linux in virtual machine and access the headless Linux
using SSH tools.

Subject: [Linux-users] Linux on a Microsoft Surface 3 tablet

Has anybody on the list got Linux to run on a Microsoft Surface-3 Tablet?

Stories of both success & failure would be most appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.
