What uses are there for old computers?
In theory - one can make mail or printer server. I want my servers to
be reliable, so I am not sure I want to use old hardware to do this.
Testing out lubuntu? maybe, but this is just one computer..
Boat anchors - filled with concrete. Doable..
The recyclers is probably the best bet.

Two new suggestions.
When attempting to get really heavy items into the back of the car (eg
taking dead washing machine to dump)
one should place old dungers on the ground and use these to "lever up"
the heavy item to sufficient height that it goes in.
Computer frisbee.
One should be careful not rip the arm out of its socket in this
endeavour, but an enthusiastic swing is enough to get a good distance.
If one aims for more noise (as opposed to distance), a careful swing in
an upwards direction is preferred.
