Hi everyone,
I'd like for us to have our first meet up to talk about things relating
to the LCA bid for 2019 and to get to know each other.
I hope to bring along the bid document for Christchurch in its current
state for viewing so people have an idea of what's happening so far. I
have copies of bid documents from previous conferences so this can help
us come up with further ideas.
If you have volunteered to be a committee member, please have a think
about writing a paragraph or two about yourself for inclusion in the bid
document. This will help introduce ourselves to Linux Australia so they
have a better idea of the awesome people who are making this happen. :)
Whether you have volunteered to be on the committee or volunteer in
general, please come along. We'll be meeting above Pomeroy's Pub (office
of Catalyst IT) on the corner of Fitzgerald Ave and Kilmore Street,
Wednesday, June 29 at 7pm.
