Does this part mean I should be able to unsubscribe by email, and if not they are breaking the law? Advertising emails tend to use noreply addresses so I wonder how this works. Most unsubscribes seem to be links to web sites. What really annoys me is trying to unsubscribe and getting asked to logon when I don't know my logon any longer and don't want to go through the rigmarole of getting new password and validating self to just tell them to bugger off, surely the email link should be setup to give all the info needed to unsubscribe, maybe some companies are just useless... (recent example - huggies nappies email, nothing for years and then they start sending advertising again - don't even have children that young any longer, grrrr). -Bryce Stenberg. _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.canterbury.ac.nz/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
