In http://czyborra.com/unicode/terminals.html I suggested
*VT100.Translations:#override:<Key>aring:string("å")
I guess it is still up to you to use the source Luke to add
the http://czyborra.com/unicode/iso14755.txt capabilities:
International Standard ISO/IEC 14755
First Edition 1997-08-15
Information technology - Input methods to enter characters from the
repertoire of ISO/IEC 10646 with a keyboard or other input device.
5.1 Basic method
- beginning sequence, for instance <KeyPress>Shift&Ctrl
- hexadecimal character number whatever case, shape and length
- ending sequence prints, for instance <KeyRelease>Shift|Ctrl
- SPACE should be both: end the current and start the next
5.3 Screen-selection input method
- precise searching criteria create user-friendly subset presentation
- select character from menu displayed at screen
- for instance by typing the menu item's number or pointing at it

Martin, please configure your mailer http://mutt.org/ to use the
proper preferred MIME label "ISO-8859-1" with two dashes to prevent:
