Luit is going to remain under the X11 license.
(I have nothing against the GPL, and use it myself when I write code
that I don't want to be used in proprietary products. I do not,
however, believe that using the GPL *by default* is a good idea, as it
causes unending problems with license compatibility.)
I shall not integrate luit with screen myself. However, the X11
license is compatible with the GPL, and you are allowed to use code
from luit in screen.
I shall not sign any legal documents, especially not copyright
assignments.
