LaTeX with unicode is called lambda, and TeX with Unicode is called
omega. Those are standard in any tetex package for *nix and also in
MikTeX for windows. You just have to run odvips on the dvi file instead
of dvips. I don't know if they make pdf directly. Their mailing list was
[EMAIL PROTECTED], but now it might be [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I hope it help. Have a look at CTAN and search for omega/lambda.
