Need Technical Help Please

I'm having a problem with my Yahoo Messenger opening up at any time on my desktop and showing me as being available.  I don't even have to click on the icon anymore, it just happens.   How can I stop this from happening?   [EMAIL PROTECTED]   Thankyou
