Sure you can.  There is a bit of extra white space at top or bottom,
assuming you don't reformat the document for the slightly altered
proportions, but so what?  This is really a very minor issue, far less
important than A4 enthusiasts seem to think.

Uh, no.  Think about it.  *Any* rectangular paper size works perfectly for
four-on-one.  Slice a rectangle in half both horizontally and vertically,
and each section always has exactly the same proportions as the original
sheet.
