Hi list,

just want to announce my CJK-Unifonts project.
The project page is currently
http://tavi.debian.org.tw/index.php?page=Unifonts

These truetype fonts were originally published by Arphic Technologies
Taiwan and contained the necessary glyphs for Big5 and GB2312 in
seperate fonts.

I've merged them together and am currently adding more glyphs to cover
Japanese and Korean as well as HKSCS, too.

These fonts shall become full CJK fonts in the future.
Currently they fully support all european ISO8859 charsets, except
cyrillic, Big5 and GB2312.

So currently, I announce them as iso10646-1, as they only contain glyphs
in the BMP.

However, when I'm at the point of adding glyphs in plane 2, I should
also announce them as iso10646-2, right?
Can X support this already? I know qt and GTK2 can (at least they
display the glyphs...)

Cheers
Arne
